A local congregation has found a new home in a somewhat unusual place. The Solid Rock Family Church has moved into the former office and training center building for the Verso Paper Mill.

Discussions continue on how to best redevelop the former Sartell paper mill site. Over the summer the council approved a one-year moratorium of any new development on the site and a task force was designed to help evaluate potential uses for the property.
A task force designed for redeveloping some industrial properties in Sartell will be brought for approval during tonight's (Monday) city council meeting. The task force will be looking at 12 properties along the Mississippi River to evaluate current land uses, and plan for potential future uses for the property.

Nearly three years since demolition work on the former Verso Paper mill site began, questions loom as to what the future holds. The 70-acre site was bought by AIM Development back in 2013.
Almost three years after the Verso Paper Mill fire in Sartell, a group of artists are getting closer to paying tribute to the mill, and its workers. Public art projects, using the paper mill's original pieces, are currently being built, and are set to go into Watab Park, and Val Smith Park this summer. The projects range from silhouettes of the mill, to park benches, and bike racks. Lead Artist Heidi Jeub tells us more about the project.
