Fire crews were called to the scene of a house fire this (Monday) morning in Meeker County. The incident happened just before noon at a home near 648th Avenue in Forest City.

Police have arrested a second suspect in the killing of a Moorhead man last weekend. The 20-year-old suspect from Moorhead was arrested without incident just after 1 p.m. Wednesday in Fargo, North Dakota.

Police in St. Paul say officers had to shoot and kill a cow that escaped from the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. Sgt. Mike Ernster says the cow got loose about 11:45 a.m. Friday.

A nine year old boy was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Waite Park last night. Police say the incident happened just after 6:15 p.m. in the area of 2nd Street South and 2nd Avenue South. A mother and her nine-year-old son were walking north across 2nd Street South.

Rochester police say a 4-year-old boy was seriously injured when he was bitten by a neighbor's dog. Police say the boy and his father stopped by the neighbor's home late Saturday morning. The 28-year-old homeowner was in the backyard with another woman trimming trees.
