EPIC

St. Cloud School District 742 has been a longtime partner with the community for programs to ready students for life after high school. The EPIC program brings 10th grade students from numerous area high schools together with area businesses to give students a glimpse into what many industries/businesses are.

The latest EPIC for Influencers event will take place tomorrow (Tuesday April 16) from 4-7 p.m. at the St. Cloud State University Fieldhouse. EPIC For Influencers is an opportunity for anyone that influences our future workforce with their career choices to ask questions/educational criteria, etc directly from industry partners.

The work to connect area businesses with the future workforce continues with the EPIC program. EPIC is a community collaborative providing career exploration opportunities for the St. Cloud area future workforce to ensure they identify the career path best aligned for their passions and skill sets.

Thousands of high school kids from 29 central Minnesota high schools had the opportunity to learn about a variety of careers all in one location.

The St. Cloud Area School District is looking to expand one of their newest programs after a successful launch.

The Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation and others put on an event called EPIC last week at the St. Cloud Technical and Community College for high school sophomores. Nearly 2,500 students from 24 different high schools attended the event.
