CentraCare spokesman Dr. George Morris joined me on WJON today. He says they have 5 people within CentraCare and St. Cloud hospital hospitalized with COVID-19 this week. He says among the 5, three have not been vaccinated while 2 have received a vaccine but have pre-existing compromised immune systems.

CentraCare Spokesman Dr. George Morris joined me on WJON today. He says research is now indicating that a booster shot for those who have had the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccine and possibly the Johnson & Johnson vaccine won't likely need a booster shot this fall.

He says they have 25 positive COVID-19 patients with less than 5 in the ICU/Critical Care unit. Morris says St. Cloud Hospital is back to being busy with "regular care".

CentraCare spokesman Dr. George Morris joined me on WJON today. He says the interest in getting the COVID-19 vaccine has waned a bit but they are still vaccinating people. He says people can't request the type of vaccine they want between the Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson yet but they are clear about what vaccine they will be issuing each day.

He says he is pleased to say that they have dropped again with the amount of positive Covid-19 cases at St. Cloud Hospital and within CentraCare. The number as of Wednesday this week is 42 patients with 8 of those in the ICU/critical care unit.

He says the amount of people in their ICU/critical care unit are about the same this week as opposed to last week, at around 20.

Each week on WJON I check in with CentraCare spokesman Dr. George Morris for the latest information on Covid-19 locally. Dr. Morris says they have more than 70 positive Covid-19 cases at St. Cloud Hospital with around 20 people in the ICU/critical care unit. Those numbers are up slightly from the week before when Morris reported around 50 positive cases and 20 in the ICU/critical care unit.

CentraCare spokesman Dr. George Morris joined me on WJON today. He says positive Covid-19 hospitalizations are down from the 60+ range to 50+ this week at St. Cloud Hospital and within CentraCare. He says about 40% of those hospitalized are in their ICU/Critical care unit.

Dr. George Morris from CentraCare joined me on WJON today. He says St. Cloud Hospital and CentraCare continues to see an increase of positive Covid-19 patients. He says they have more than 60 after having around 50 the week before. He says a quarter of those individuals are in the ICU/Critical Care unit.
