St. Cloud Woman Hurt By Loose Wheel

FAIRHAVEN TOWNSHIP -- A St. Cloud woman suffered a broken leg when she was struck by a wheel.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Department was called to County Road 7 in Fairhaven Township at about 10:20 a.m. yesterday (Monday).

53-year-old Jeanne McGuire was standing at her mailbox when she was hit by the wheel, which had broken off a tandem axel trailer.

The trailer was being towed by 24-year-old Mitchell Schindele of South Haven.  Schindele wasn't aware of what had happened until he got home.
