ST. CLOUD - St. Cloud Police Chief Blair Anderson is asking St. Cloud residents to stay off the roads due to the driving conditions.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner is also advising no travel, due to deep snow drifts, high winds, and blowing snow  with white out conditions.

State Highway 15, State Highway 4, and U.S. Highway 71 are closed this (Sunday) evening with some area having snow drifts as high as six-feet.

Emergency responders are limited by the road conditions, which could results in delayed response times if you are driving and get stranded.

It is also advised that you stay indoors due to the weather conditions, unless travel is absolutely necessary.

Strong winds and blowing snow are making travel difficult across much of Minnesota, with white out conditions being reported in some areas.
