ST. CLOUD -- The city of St. Cloud has rescinded the snow emergency which was put into effect early Thursday following heavy snowfall.

The snow emergency is declared to ensure city crews are able to clear the streets of newly fallen snow. It allows city officials to tow illegally parked cars overnight without warning.
