St. Cloud Area Unemployment Rate Remains Steady

ST. CLOUD - The St. Cloud metro area unemployment rate is relatively unchanged from January to February.

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development says we're at 6 percent in February, down slightly from the 6.1 percent in January.  That figure is down from a year ago when we were at 6.6 percent in February of 2013.

The St. Cloud area has a higher unemployment rate than the statewide average, which is at 4.8 percent.  And, we're close to the national average now, which is at 6.7 percent.
