COLLEGEVILLE -- The excitement at Collegeville continues as SportsCenter's "On the Road" crew put together the finals touches for tomorrow's (Saturday) broadcast.

The crew received an enthusiastic welcome yesterday (Thursday). Anchor Matt Barrie and Sara Walsh will host the telecast and Barrie says the atmosphere is unlike any other.

"We've done Notre Dame, Alabama, Mississippi State and this has been the best welcome there has been," says Barrie.

The show will broadcast from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on the field at Clemens Stadium. Walsh had a chance the tour the campus and says the sites are amazing.

"It's a beautiful campus and I don't know what it looks like in December but today it is incredible," says Walsh.

Walsh and Barrie admit they had to brush up on their Division III football knowledge and Barrie says his favorite story was learning how John Gagliardi was hired.

"Here is this young coach who goes on to win the most games in NCAA history and a monk on the hiring committee asks him can you beat St. Thomas?," says Barrie.

St. John's officials hope to have over 5,000 fans in attendance for tomorrow's broadcast, and Walsh says her advice to aspiring journalists.

"If this is something you want to do stick with it and things will get better for you, but it's all a matter of perseverance," says Walsh.

The show has visited Notre Dame, Michigan, and Boston College earlier this season.

The undefeated Johnnies and Tommies kickoff at 1:00 p.m. tomorrow.
