Sheriff: Dead Man Found Inside Semi at Rest Stop

AVON - Authorities are investigating a death at the Avon rest stop.

At about 10:15 a.m. on Sunday the Stearns County Sheriff's Department responded to a report of dead man inside a semi at the westbound Avon rest stop.

The caller told the Sheriff's Department 59-year-old Nick Tufaro of Georgia was overdue at his destination and had not been in contact with anyone for several days.

His body was taken to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's office.
