Semi Overturns Spilling Its Cargo
LYNDEN TOWNSHIP - A semi carrying a load of sunflower seeds turned over yesterday (Friday), spilling its cargo.
The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says the incident happened just before 12:30 p.m. on County Road 44 and County Road 45 in Lynden Township.
As county road 44 curves to the east, the semi entered the ditch, struck a fence and overturned.
The driver, 37-year-old Shane Poppen of Little Falls was taken to the hospital by private party.
