The Twins lost 1-0 at home to the Seattle Mariners Monday night.  Felix Hernandez out-dueled Liam Hendriks to get the win.  Hernandez allowed just 5 hits in 9 innings with 5 strikeouts and 1 walk.  Hendriks made his best start as a Twin.  He allowed 3 hits and 1 earned run with 6 strikeouts and 3 walks to take the loss and drop to 0-7.  Eric Thames hit a solo homerun off Hendriks in the 8th inning to break the scoreless tie.  Justin Morneau tripled to lead off the 7th inning but the Twins couldn't get him in.

Minnesota is 52-76 and will host Seattle again tonight at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:40.  Lefthander Scott Diamond (10-5) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Hisashi Iwakuma (4-3) toes the rubber for the Mariners.
