SCSU Homecoming Is On The Student Government Ballot [Audio]

ST. CLOUD - St. Cloud State University Students are voting this week on a non-binding referendum regarding Homecoming.

Two years ago the University administration made a decision to replace the Homecoming tradition with four scheduled events throughout the year called Celebrate! SCSU.

The referendum  asks, "Should St. Cloud State University reinstate Homecoming into a Celebrate! SCSU weekend, thus titling the weekend Celebrate! SCSU: Homecoming?"

Student Government president, Jarrod Wiggins says that there have been complaints from the students and community members with the decision to end Homecoming.

The Student Government will officially take a stance on the issue after Thursday's election results are revealed.
