Sauk Rapids Company Plans Expansion

SAUK RAPIDS - A Sauk Rapids company is planning a major expansion project next year.

Hardware Distributors will nearly double their warehouse space by adding an extra 40,000 square feet.  Company spokesman Al Dehler says the project has been in the works for about five years now.  They're moving on it now because they're expecting the construction industry to start to rebound next year.

The company has 85 employees now, and once the project is complete they plan to slowly add more workers.

Hardware Distributors is a wholesale distributor of cabinet and furniture hardware.  They have over 14,000 product lines and ship all over the country.  They're located in the Sauk Rapids Industrial Park on the east side of Highway 10.
