The public is welcome to attend this free event to learn more about fire safety in their home and about fire prevention techniques. Of course, there will also be opportunities for kids (and adults) to check out the big trucks. One of the highlights of my four year old's entire year in 2023 was blasting the horn of one of the big fire engines!

The first open house at the then-brand-new fire station happened in 2021.

In 2021, the LifeLink helicopter was on hand for people to check out, as well as a couple of other aerial vehicles. These have not been confirmed for 2024 as of yet.

There will also be opportunities to meet with firefighters and police officers while checking out the cool vehicles.
