COLD SPRING -- The man who was arrested -- then released -- in the shooting death of Cold Spring Police Officer Tom Decker is maintaining his innocence.

Ryan Larson tells WCCO-TV -- in an interview with reporter Esme Murphy -- he didn't kill Decker. And that he has "nothing to hide" as police continue to investigate the shooting.

Larson says in the court of public opinion, he's been convicted of Officer Decker's death. But did he do it? "Absolutely not," he tells Murphy.

Larson says he's not been allowed to go back to his apartment above Winner's Bar in Cold Spring, where he was arrested an hour after Decker's death.

"My life is gone, basically stolen from me," he says. Larson says he has no place to live, and can't go back to school or to work.

Larson says he wants his name cleared and Tom Decker's killer brought to justice.

To date, there have been no other arrests in the case. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and Stearns County Sheriff's Department continue to investigate.
