UNDATED - There are nearly 60,000 jobs available in Minnesota right now.  The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development has released their statewide report on job vacancies.

DEED says the numbers are from the fourth quarter of last year.  They say it's the greatest number of fourth quarter job openings in the state since 2005.

Thirty-four-thousand-four-hundred of the openings were in the seven-county Twin Cities metro area, while 24,460 were in Greater Minnesota.

Health care and social assistance had the most openings.  Thirty-nine percent of the openings were for part-time employment.

The median wage for the openings was $13.14.
