MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A record high temperature is set in the Twin Cities.

Forecasters say a reading of 50 degrees at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport Monday broke the old record of 49 degrees for Dec. 15 set back in 1923.

The warm air won't last long. Colder air and up to two inches of snow is possible Monday evening and overnight. And the longer range forecast has some additional snow right around Christmas.
