Raise Money For Good Causes With A Local Olympic Athlete This Weekend

ST. CLOUD -- A charity event hosted by an Olympic athlete from St. Cloud will be held tomorrow (Sunday) at Pineview Park BMX in St. Cloud.

The 6th annual Alise Post Charity Palooza will feature two fundraising events: the MS Race for the Cure -- which raises money for multiple sclerosis -- and the Never Give Up 5k run.

Alise Post, a 2012 Olympian BMX racer, will be on hand for the event. Post, 24, started the Charity Palooza six years ago to raise money for her high school gymnastics coach who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

The 5k run is set to begin at 9:00 a.m. with registration starting at 7:30 a.m. and the Race for the Cure is set to begin at 1:00 p.m.

Last year, the event raised over $14,000 dollars.
