POLL: What Minnesotans Would Use One Lifetime 99% Discount On
The Powerball is once again nearing [Dr Evil voice and pose] one BEELLION dollars ($1,000,000,000 USD). None of us are going to win it. Some jerkface in New Jersey was the lone winner of the billion dollar Mega Millions jackpot. Dangit.
A recent Question of the Century tried to let us dream of at least getting a big lifetime discount on something if we can't have a big life-changing pile of money thrown at us.
If You Could Get a 99% Lifetime Discount on ONE Thing, What Would it Be?
Bob: "Biscuits and gravy"
Lisa, Tom, Margaret, and Beth chose: "Gasoline"
Greg, Jonathan, and Keith mentioned "Food/Groceries". Toni included food for her dog, too.
I'm lumping "Rent" and "Mortgage" into "Housing".
Beck, Kelly, Rene, and Gennifer would love to pay a lot less (like most of us, I assume).
Just in time for our least-favorite time of the year: "Taxes".
Deanna, Mark, and Joe want a tax cut (again, I assume just like the rest of us)
Gettin' hammered for less coin was the choice of Mark, Clarence, and Willy.
Could you imagine getting a 99% lifetime discount on travel? Patti, Bobbi Jo, and Stacy can.
Shirley must have an immune system of steel: she chose "Cruises to spend enjoying the rest of retirement to different locations". Honestly, I might risk noroviruses for a 99% discount.
Another chronic expense: transportation.
Bill said "Vehicles" while Brettzki got more specific: "Rivian trucks".
Matt knows what he wants. If he could get a 99% lifetime discount on one thing, he'd choose bowling balls.
"Yeah, well, you know, that's just like, uh, your opinion, man." ~The Dude
