Old Country Buffet Owner Files for Bankruptcy

UNDATED - The parent company for Old Country Buffet has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.  It's the second time in four years Buffets Inc. has filed for reorganization.

They also say they plan to close 81 restaurants nationwide.

Buffets owns 494 restaurants under five different names.  They have 14 locations in Minnesota, all of them are under the Old Country Buffet name, including one here in St. Cloud.

The company is expected to announce next week which locations will close.
