No Local Post Offices On The Chopping Block

UNDATED - The financially ailing Postal Service has added 88 Minnesota locations to the list of those being considered for closing.  That brings the total potential closings to 116 in the state.

None of the post offices are in the immediate St. Cloud metro area.  Elrosa in western Stearns County has been going through the closing process for a while now.  And the Fort Ripley post office in Crow Wing county is new on the list.

Minnesota has a total of 882 post offices.
