New Weather Model Predicts This Month To Be The Worst For Minnesotans

With a record amount of rain falling on Halloween, it's only normal to think about when we will start to see snow that is going to stick around. A new European weather model that looks at global weather long term just released its most recent models and it looks like Minnesotans will only have to worry about one month when the snow is predicted to pile up.

Severe Weather EU, a weather website, has recently released its new models for weather over the next few months. The new models go through March, but only one month stood out for massive amounts of snow for Minnesotans. The month that is being predicted for the heaviest snow here in the #BoldNOrth is January!

Severe Weather EU shared images of the models, and at least from what I've seen our La Nina weather pattern is going to be relatively weak, which seems to mean less than average snow most months, with the exception being, as least according to this modeling, January.

The blue color is what is predicting more snow than average, while the orange/yellow colors indicate less snow than average. You can see in the models, just January seems to blanket Minnesota with above-average snowfall.

I know these are just predictions of what could happen, and if you've lived here long enough you'll know if you wait 5 minutes the weather changes anyway. But I do like knowing what could happen.
