New Life Church of Foley Hopes to Build Their Own Building [AUDIO]

FOLEY -- A Foley church wants to get a building of its own.

New Life Church in Foley has been operating inside Foley High School for the past 12 years.

Pastor Jim Von Wald says, due to the growing congregation, a new building is needed.

New Life Church owns 28 acres west of the high school, which is the potential site of the building.

Von Wald says if the council approves their building request, the new facility would fit today's worship style.

During tonight's (Thursday) City Council meeting the board will decide whether or not to approve the churches request to build.

Von Wald hopes with the councils approval they can start construction by August.
