RICHMOND - The Minnesota Bluegrass and Old Time Music Festival has been rated the International Bluegrass Music Association's event of the year three times, and local fans of bluegrass music can catch national acts here in our backyard at El Rancho Manana Campground.

Overall, the main stage will host around 20 bands throughout the 4-day festival. The festivities begin Thursday night with headliners "The Black Twig Pickers." Acts to follow include Robin & Linda Williams on Friday night, and Grammy-award winning group "Marty Raybon & Full Circle" performing on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

The festival also boasts myriad daytime activities, including amateur musician jam sessions, a craft tent, games, and events for kids in the family tent.

Tickets are $19 a day in advance for adults or $77 for the weekend, including camping. Teenagers can spend the weekend there for $10, and children are free.
