Can you believe summer is about half over already and soon the kids will be heading back to school?  There is still time to get in some fun weekend activities with crafts, festivals, and lots and lots of music.     FREE Music

    St. Cloud

    If you like music, and like it more when it’s free, there are many opportunities this weekend to get free tunes in great settings.

    Thursday night it’s week two of the Barden Park music series with the Meire Grove Community Band from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and there will be root beer floats for purchase too to help support Barden Park.

    Nathan Ness is performing at the Beaver Island Brewing Company on Friday as part of its Common Roots summer music lineup.  He plays from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

    Local artist Al Walz takes the stage at Whit’s Craft Beer on Saturday from 8:00 p.m.  – 10:00 p.m.

    The sister duet False Autumn is playing from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Iron Street Distillery.

    On Sunday, of course, you can attend Music in the Gardens at Munsinger Gardens from 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. with Harper’s Chord.

    Tour of Saints

    St. Joseph

    Bike enthusiasts can take a scenic tour of the St. Joseph area with the annual Tour of Saints. There are three different lengths to choose from 18 miles, 35 miles, or 50 miles with a party at Bad Habit Brewing afterwards.  There are treat stops along the course as well.  Follow this link to register.

    Craft Show & Flea Market

    Richmond

    Find all those hidden treasures, hard-to-find collectibles, some Minnesota-made goodies, or even do some early Christmas shopping at the River Lake Days Craft, Flea, and Farmers Market. The market will take place rain or shine since it is at the River Lakes Arena in Richmond.

    Looking for something fun for the kids and a lunch idea?  Head over to Becker’s Pizza Depot for Kids in the Kitchen.  Children will get to make their own pizza, play in a bouncy house, color, play board games, and build their own ice cream sundae to top it off.  $15 to attend.

    Modest - Premium Automotive Showcase

    St. Paul

    Check out the 4th annual automotive showcase at Saint Paul RiverCentre. With 90,000 feet of floor space,  Modest is the largest indoor car show in the Twin Cities. The event aims to showcase Personal Builds, Shop Builds, International Imported Collections, and Exotics.
