More Burning Restrictions Start Monday

UNDATED -- More counties will be added to the list of those with burning restrictions.

Stearns and Benton counties are among the 13 additional counties to ban open burning starting Monday, May 6th. Other central Minnesota counties under the ban include Douglas, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Todd and Pope.

Burning restrictions went into effect in Sherburne and Wright Counties April 21st.

Northern Minnesota counties will be added soon.
