Metro Citizens Police Academy Gives You A New Look Into Law Enforcement

UNDATED -- Local law enforcement are give you a first hand look at what a job in law enforcement is all about.

St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids, Waite Park, St. Joseph and Sartell are accepting applications for the Metro Citizens Police Academy.

The eight week course provides you with a better understanding of law enforcement and the difficult police related issues they face on a regular basis.

You must be 21 years old, reside within the city of the police department you apply and not have a criminal record.

The program begin September 10th and run through October 29th, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Classes will be held at various departments and locations.

The Citizen's Police Academy is just informative and in no way trains you to act in a law enforcement capacity.
