LONG PRAIRIE -- The mother of missing TV anchor and Long Prairie native Jodi Huisentruit has died.

Imogene "Jane" Huisentruit died on Tuesday at the CentraCare Health Systems in Long Prairie at the age of 91. Private services were held at Williams Dingmann Funeral Home in Long Prairie.

Unfortunately, Huisentruit died not knowing what happened to her daughter.

Jodi Huisentruit went missing on June 27th, 1995 in Mason City, Iowa at the age of 27. It's presumed the television news anchor was abducted, but no one has ever been charged in the case. Jodi Huisentruit was declared legally dead in May of 2001.

She grew-up in Long Prairie, and graduated from St. Cloud State University. She worked briefly at the television station in Alexandria before moving to Mason City.

Next year will mark the 20th anniversary of Jodi's disappearance.
