Huskies Shut Out Miami University
ST. CLOUD -- The St. Cloud State Huskies bounced back from a rough time last weekend with a convincing 3-0 win over the Miami University RedHawks on Friday night.
The Huskies scored in each period -- Patrick Newell got goals in the first and third periods and Ryan Papa netted one in the second.
The Huskies defense swarmed all night, allowing only 15 shots on goal -- all of which goalie Charlie Lindgren stopped in the shutout win.
With the win, SCSU improves to 5-2 on the season. The Huskies will host the RedHawks again tonight at 7:07 p.m.
