ST. CLOUD -- The GREAT Theatre had a very successful year.  Their box office sold a record number of tickets.

Over 62,000 people bought a ticket for one of the GREAT Theatre's performances in the 2009-2010 fiscal year.  And those tickets translated into over $1 million in revenue -- which is also a record for the theater company.  GREAT Theatre ended the fiscal year with just over a $42,000 surplus.

And another highlight for them, 1,000 kids registered for their Summer Camp last season.

It doesn't appear that the popularity of live theater in St. Cloud is waning.  GREAT officials say THIS fiscal year is already off to a big start, the musical "The Sound Of Music" -- which was on stage in December -- broke all box office records for them.

GREAT's next performance is "Oliver", it will be on the Paramount Theatre stage February 25th through March 6th.
