Foley “Spring Clean Up Day” Saturday Morning

FOLEY -- Foley's spring clean up day will take place Saturday.

Foley Boy Scout Troop 10 is sponsoring the clean up day, and you can bring your junk to the old waste-water treatment site on Broadway Avenue South from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

There will per a "per-pound" fee to dispose of electronics. They cannot take paint, oil or any hazardous waste.

Prices for the acceptance of some items are:

• $20.00 Per pickup load or trailer
• $5.00 Couches, mattresses, box springs, chairs
• $17.00 Per major household appliances
• $27.00 Air conditioners and office equipment
• $2.00 Each car battery
• $6.00 Per car tire

Any leaves, branches or grass clippings will be accepted at the Compost site on County Road 51. The event is for Foley residents only.
