FOLEY - Foley could have a new police chief by tomorrow (Tuesday).  The city council is holding a special meeting tonight (Monday) at 5:00 p.m. to talk about the candidate they have selected.

Brant Sandridge of St. Francis is their top choice.  The council will review his background check tonight, and then they could vote to offer him the job.  If he accepts, he could start patrolling the streets of Foley in a couple of weeks.

Foley has been in the process of re-establishing it's police department since they ended an agreement with the Benton County Sheriff's Department at the first of this year.
