Discarded Christmas Tree Collection Information

ST. CLOUD -- Collection crews will be picking up your discarded Christmas trees on each of the next two Mondays.

The City of St. Cloud has designated this Monday, January 5th and next Monday, January 12th as collection dates for Christmas trees.

If you choose to have your tree picked up, you are reminded of the following tips:

- Remove all ornaments and decorations. Trees with metal or cement stands will not be picked up.

- Tie a garbage bag around the tree to make it visible for the collection crews.

- Wreaths will not be picked up for recycling, as they contain wire.

In order to have your tree picked up, have it in the collection area by 6:00 a.m. on the scheduled pick up days.
