ALBANY -- A single story house in Albany caught fire early this (Saturday) morning.

Albany Fire Chief Gary Winkels says the fire happened at 121 Railroad Avenue at around 7:15 a.m. Crews were able to contain the fire and put it out by 9:45 a.m.

No one was in the home during the fire and no one was injured. The estimated damage caused by fire is unknown at this time.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

The Red Cross is assisting the homeowner.
