Alleged Cattle Rustlers Caught

UNDATED -- An update for you on the reports of calves being stolen in Stearns County.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says they have made two arrests in the case.

There were actually a total of 17 stolen calves from Stearns, Todd and Douglas counties.

A caller heard about the thefts through the extensive media coverage and led investigators to the rural Rothsay and Barnesville areas in Wilken and Clay counties.

Deputies arrested 19-year-old Jesse Ronsberg of Rothsay and a 16-year-old boy from Barnesville.

All of the cattle were recovered and returned to their owners.
