Candidate Filings For Local City, School Board Races
UNDATED - The filing period closed today (Tuesday) for cities and schools that didn't have a primary election.
In Waite Park they have the mayor's seat and two city council positions on the ballot in November. Mayor Rick Miller is running unopposed. Three people have filed for city council, the two incumbents Chuck Schneider and Mike Lindquist as well as Shawn Blackburn.
In St. Joseph they have the mayor's seat and two city council positions on the General Election ballot. Mayor Rick Schultz is running unopposed. The two people who filed for city council are Troy Gorake and incumbent Bob Loso. Incumbent Renee Symanietz did not file for re-election.
In St. Augusta they also have the mayor's seat and two city council positions on the ballot. Mayor Bob Kroll is running unopposed. For city council the two incumbents Donna Schultzenberg and Paul Reinert will be challenged by three others, Adam Poole, Kathy Watrin, and Lance Conover.
For Sauk Rapids-Rice school board there are four open seats. Five people filed, newcomer Ryan Butkowski, incumbent Tracey L. Fiereck, incumbent Mark M. Hauck, incumbent Tracy L. Morse, and incumbent Jan Solarz.
For Sartell-St. Stephen school board there are three open seats. Three people filed. They are incumbents Pam Raden and Jason Nies, as well as Lesa Kramer.
