Benefit Concert To Help Sartell Police Add New Training Suits

SARTELL - Sartell is hosting a concert at its new community center to help the Sartell Police train for protecting its community in the 21st century.

The Paint The Town For Our Blue concert is Saturday, January 6th from 7:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.

Old Man Jenkins will be playing at the concert.

Sonia Nordmann is helping organize the event. She says they are trying to raise money for cutting-edge training equipmen

"There is a training suit that we are trying to raise the most money for. The suits are about $4,500 a piece."

Organizers say they hope to have a body suit for concert goers to see. If that is not available they hope to have a video for everyone to see what they are helping raise money for.

Nordmann says they are still looking for sponsors for the event, and sponsors get some added benefits.

"Thre will be concession stands open. There are food options and a cash bar, and if you are a sponsor you get access to the VIP bar as well."
