The bar, which can be found on the East side of Sauk Centre, has been a long-time staple for the community, and surrounding area.

The Bear Trap is known for its 'bar food' as reviews of the Bear Trap consistently mention their burgers. One online review, Yelp.com, said "The prices are good, the ambiance is pleasant, and there are few better places to stop for a beer or two or a good bar-food dinner. You can tell it's good by the number of pickups parked out front!"

The Bear Trap, was previously known, in another life as the Eagle Inn.
