Around the Town: Collegeville Orchards Fall Festival Kicks off Saturday [VIDEO]

ST. JOSEPH --Tucked away into the scenic country of St. Joseph is Collegeville Orchards.

Collegeville Orchards is just two miles west of St. John's University. Todd Beumer is the owner of the orchard. He's been running it with his family since 1999. He says they are in the middle of gearing up for their annual Fall Festival this weekend, which features events for the whole family.

"We for sure have live music from noon to 3:00 p.m. both days. We have a couple clowns that come out and do face painting and some balloon animals."

Beumer says they'll also be doing some cider demonstrations during the festival.

The orchard does have wagon rides on the weekends, a petting zoo, a pick your own pumpkin patch and pumpkin painting.

Collegeville Orchards is open every day, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. through the end of October.
