UPDATE: Winter Weather Advisory Until 1:00 a.m.
UNDATED - The winter storm will continue to depart the region overnight, with snow showers tapering off by midnight. Northwest winds will remain strong with gusts of 25 to 30 mph causing areas of blowing snow across the region.
Wind chill values will be 20 to 25 below zero across the northwest, and 10 to 15 below elsewhere.
Looking ahead, the cold weather will remain across the region for the next several days.
Temperatures will be 10 to 25 degrees below the seasonal average for mid March.
