Annual Convention Draws More Than 300 Auctioneers To St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD -- More than 300 Auctioneers from Minnesota and surrounding states are at the St. Cloud Holiday Inn today (Thursday) for the Annual Minnesota State Auctioneers Association convention.

The three day event offers a variety of workshops and seminars regarding the auction profession. The main event of the week is the Minnesota State Bid-Calling Championship.

The winner of the contest competes for the top prize and a chance to represent Minnesota auctioneers at the national level during the National Auctioneers Association annual convention.

The public is invited to watch the contestants compete for the championship today (Thursday) at 6:00 p.m. and also observe the MSAA's Rookie Contest.
