54th Avenue to Close on Monday for Construction

If you were planning on taking 54th Avenue starting at the intersection of Veteran's Drive next Monday, you'll have to make other plans.

The street will be completely closed beginning at 6:00 a.m. for construction as part of the West Metro Corridor Project.

The closure is expected to last about 2 weeks, and detour options will be posted at 44th Avenue and 3rd Street South.

Businesses along 54th will only be accessible from the south side.
