ST. CLOUD -- Barden Park was buzzing with people at the 23rd annual Take Back the Night event last (Thursday) night.

Take Back the Night is a national event honoring victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Tamara Hennes-Vix works with the Sexual Assault Center and says the event tries to end the silence on the issue.

Events included:  information tables, the silent witness display, a guest speaker, and the clothes line project.

The evening ended with a march starting at 8:00 p.m. and a closing ceremony at 9:00 p.m.
