APPLE VALLEY, (AP) - The Minnesota Zoo's collection of forest antelopes just got a little bigger.

The zoo announced Tuesday that a male bongo antelope was born June 6 and a female arrived 10 days later. The zoo has five other adult bongo antelopes, which are native to rain forests with dense undergrowth across tropical Africa.

The auburn- or chestnut-colored animals have 10 to 15 vertical white stripes.
