Wild Snap Skid With Win Over Flyers Monday Night
The Minnesota Wild snapped a four game losing streak with a 2-0 win over Philadelphia Monday night at Xcel Energy Center.
Minnesota forward Jason Pominville broke a scoreless tie with his 14th goal of the season on a slick feed from Mikko Koivu at 3:52 of the third period. Charlie Coyle scored on a putback less than a minute later to give the Wild a 2-0 lead.
Josh Harding made 21 saves to earn the shutout, which improves Minnesota to 16-8-5 on the season.
The Wild will host the Chicago Blackhawks Thursday night.
