The Minnesota Wild won their third straight game on Sunday with a 4-3 overtime defeat of the Winnipeg Jets in St. Paul, but it wasn't pretty.

The Wild led 3-0 heading into the third period thanks to a pair of first period goals from Zach Parise, who was making his return to the lineup after sitting out a handful of contests with a concussion, and a beauty from Nino Niederreiter on the power play.

After a scoreless second period, the Jets tied the game with goals from Michael Frolik, Evander Kane and a tipped-in tying goal from Andrew Ladd with just under ten minutes left in the period that made the score 3-3.

The Wild controlled play from the opening faceoff in the extra period, notching the game-winner on a Marco Scandella slap shot just over one minute into OT.

Minnesota improves to 10-7-0 on the season with the win and are back in action Thursday when they play at Philadelphia.
