The Vikings routed the Rams in St. Louis 36-22 Sunday.  Adrian Peterson ran for 212 yards including an 82-yard touchdown.  Peterson is now 294 yards away from Eric Dickerson's single season rushing record.  Everson Griffin had a 29-yard interception return touchdown in the first half for the Vikings.

Christian Ponder was 17-24 passing for 131 yards and no touchdowns with no interceptions but a rushing touchdown.  Jerome Simpson led the Vikings with 4 catches for 27 yards.  Blair Walsh was 5-5 on field goals including 3 field goals of 50 yards or more.
