WAITE PARK -- Authorities arrested two people from Waite Park after a search warrant uncovered drugs, cash and a stolen gun.

Investigators from the Central Minnesota Drug and Gang Task Force searched a home at 1103 2nd Street north in Waite Park Friday. Officers say they found a marijuana growing operation, methamphetamine and nearly $2,800 cash.

Police also found a stolen 45-caliber handgun on one of the suspects.

Police arrested 33-year-old Uriah Smith on drug and weapons charges. Police say Smith is a convicted felon and is out on parole and not allowed to have a gun.

Officers also arrested 31-year-old Jennifer Stawarski on drug charges.
