The Twins blanked the Los Angeles Angles 5-0 Tuesday night to snap a 3-game losing streak.  Scott Diamond threw 7 shutout innings with 4 hits and 1 walk allowed with 6 strikeouts to get the win.  Ryan Doumit hit a 2-run homerun and Brian Dozier was 2-4 with a run scored and 1 RBI for the Twins.  Dan Haren allowed 8 hits and 5 earned runs in 3 2/3 innings to take the loss for L.A.

The Twins are 8-21 and will host the Angles again at Target Field tonight at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:40.  Righthander Carl Pavano (2-2) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Ervin Santana (0-6) get the ball for the Angels.
